Monash University Hockey Club is commencing a junior hockey club at its Clayton campus. Monash has world class facilities with a stand out clubhouse and the only water based turf in the eastern suburbs. Monash is looking to utilise its excellent coaches with more than 10 years experience at all levels to become one of the best clubs in Victoria. The new junior program is going to be a dynamic environment in which the participants will have lots of fun and learn valuable hockey skills at the same time. Monash is a friendly environment perfect for juniors—so come along and meet the team!
Summer Program
Monday 18th Jan - All day Summer Camp. 9am - 3:30pm (Details below).
Saturday 20th Feb - Monash Junior Open Day. 10:30 - 2pm
- Registration for hook into hockey program .
- A great chance for parents and kids to meet the coaches & committee at Monash.
- Free BBQ provided
Monday 8th March - 4 Week Hook in2 Hockey program begins.
Tuesday 6th April - Training for winter hockey teams begins.
Winter Season: Team Trainings - information pending
Summer Camp (18th Jan)
The Summer camp is run for 7 – 15 year olds over a full day focusing on hockey and sporting activities. There will be a canteen open for the day so children can either bring their lunch or buy from the canteen. The summer camp is the first of many camps to be run at Monash and we are hoping to make it a heap of fun for everyone involved!

Cost: $60 per child
Winter Season: Group Coaching
An all new program offered at Monash Hockey Club, where participants can enrol in group coaching sessions for all ages. Participants can learn to play hockey and improve skills until they become confident enough to join a team and participate in team training sessions. These lessons are ideal for beginners to get the basic understanding in a controlled environment. Additionally, advanced players may want to get an experienced eye to help them master some of the more difficult skills within the game. Sessions run for an hour and are run after school on either a Tuesday or a Thursday.
Cost: $80
Length: 10 x 1 hr sessions (coinciding with school terms)
Location: Monash Uni Hockey Club
Time: Fill out registration form and indicate day of preference.
