Bit of a mixed bag for the farm this week, but the mens 4s were the highlight of the round with a huge victory over Mornington in their Metro B division.
When asked who played well in the post game conference, Coach Connell quipped “It was 8-1, who didn’t play well?”
Nick Hunt-Smith was the headline act, bagging 4 goals in his best performance of the season.
Shyam Barr was the enforcer of the evening, laying some crunching tackles.
Alex Phillips ran rings around the opposition midfield, with Sikander Chauhan in support contributing some valuable assists.
And in a display of dedication Adam Smetana copped a speeding fine in order to make the second half, then made it worthwhile by slotting a goal (Disclaimer: the club does not support speeding and would prefer all players arrived in time for the first)
